Flame barriers
The European Building Codes prescribe that facades, roofing and wall joints have to be fire sealed to avoid flash over and fire propagation. By installing flame barriers with Firetect A, the fire protection for adjacent constructions is secured.
The cannelures in trapezium steel roofings plates are filled with mineral fiber; if the roof is insulated with flammable foam, a strip of mineral fiber is installed above the wall on the roof.
In addition, a pathway made of concrete tiles or gravel is laid over the strip along the full length of the wall. Firetect A boards are directly installed onto the steel roof.
