Fire resistant plastic pipe seals
Penetrations for services up to Ø 400mm are made fire
resistant with fire collars. We offer to types:
• fire collar Firetect FMU with click mechanism
• fire collar FMU-E with 2 separate parts

Pipe collars
Firetect FMU
The reactive intumescent layer of the fire collar blocks off the gap left by the collapsed pipe. Compact design height and click mechanism.
Firetect FMU-E
Similar to FMU, but with 2 separate parts that allow easy fixing into place around plastic pipes.
Pipe wraps
Firetect Wrap
In case of restricted site fitting conditions, a Firetect Wrap can be fixed around the pipe. The sleeves are cast into a solid structure with Firetect Mortar.
Intumescent mastic

Pipes up to Ø 50mm are fire resistant with intumescent Firetect Acrylic sealant.
