Fire resistant openings and joints
Every gap more than Ø25mm has to be fire sealed to avoid spread of flame. Not only humid conditions determine the type of seal, but also the expansion level of the joint.

Fire resistant mastics
Firetect Acrylic sealant
Acrylic intumescent mastic that expands in case of fire. Suitable for fully fire seal small openings, linear joints and plastic pipes up to Ø 50mm.
Firetect Silicone sealant
Fire resistant neutral curing one component mastic for construction seams and (expansion) joints up to 50mm.
Firetect Acrylic sealant
