Fire compartments
To meet the required fire resistance, buildings have to be divided into fire compartments: fire sealed areas to avoid horizontal and vertical spread of flame and smoke into adjacent compartments.

We offer several certificated and economical solutions for fire resistant flame barriers, separation walls, partitions and ceilings:
general guideline for compartments: residential: 500 m2, utility: 1000 m2 +++ with firewalls, all building materials must have the same fire resistance +++ general guideline for compartments: residential: 500 m2, utility: 1000 m2 +++ with firewalls, all building materials must have the same fire resistance

The European Building Codes prescribe that facades, roofing and wall joints have to be fire sealed to avoid flash over and fire propagation. By installing flame barriers, the fire protection for adjacent constructions is secured. More info
To create fire resistant partitions or shaft wall systems, Firetect P boards are installed using metal stud. The void is filled with mineral fiber.

Also in case of fire resistant separation walls, fire boards are installed using metal stud. The void is filled with mineral fiber.

Fire resistant ceilings are easily created with Firetect A, a light weight fire board. Installation directly (!) on the loaded beams or by using metal stud. More info
